Our machines mix these warm and cold air layers. The more volume you can mix, the more temperature gain you can make.

Protected surface: 7 Ha ?
We ourselves do not put an exact figure on the protected surface. After all, this also depends on the frost situation. What we can confirm. We test the most important competition machines, and we can thus guarantee we do protect by far the most surface.
We can also confirm that when it happens to be a severe frost period, we do receive many positive feedback from our customers.
Satisfied with the given protection, especially when compared to the neighbors.
Indeed. Some customers say they protected 7 Ha. Others suggest that 6,5 Ha was well protected.

Options for increased frost protection
Orchard - Rite quickly realized that the optimal frost protection does not stand or fall with the standard machine. There are many extras that can contribute to an even better protection of every orchard.

Lownoise wind machine
Despite the fact that these machines work an average of 8 nights per year, 5 hours per night, the noise is an important restriction to obtain a permit.
After several years of thorough testing, Orchard - Rite now has the new mod 2430 wind machine available. Noise is no longer a limitation!
Here, again, Orchard - Rite makes the difference.
Mobile wind machine
Sometimes a mobile machine is preferred, because in the low season not to disturb the beautiful view of the properties.
This certainly is the case for installations in protected areas.
Orchard - Rite has extensively tested this machine. After all, safety is still paramount.

The laydown machine is mainly installed where there are restrictions regarding protected areas and views.
This machine is a compromise beween a machine protecting the largest possible surface and not disturbing off - season.
